All ARE INDIVIDUALS
Muslims are expected to treat all people as individuals, and not try to force their children to be something they are not. They should accept their natural qualities, encourage their good points, and gently steer them away from bad characteristics.
The most important thing a parent can do for a child is to set a good example, so that the child grows up devout, kind, independent, and able to help others.
